Product description
MyStaticWP turns your dynamic WordPress into static pages, and you never leave your WordPress admin. Every public page is built once, saved as an HTML file, and served to visitors instead of being built again for each visit. You keep editing the live, dynamic site as usual, and the static copies rebuild themselves when you save. It runs on your own server, on the same domain, and it can be switched off in one click.
Why “dynamic to static” matters
A normal WordPress page is dynamic: at every visit, PHP starts, the database is queried, every active plugin runs, and the same page is built again, even when nothing has changed since the last visitor. On a busy day, on a modest host or with many plugins, that repeated work is what makes pages slow. A static page removes the repetition. MyStaticWP does the conversion, and gives you control and measurements around it, so you see real figures for your own site rather than promises.
Three steps to start
- Activate the plugin. Nothing changes for your visitors yet.
- Choose a generation style and turn static mode on, on the Switch screen.
- Click Regenerate all. Your visitors now receive static pages, and you press Measure on the Overview to see the difference on your own server.
Included
- Dynamic to static conversion of every public page, on your own domain, with the same WordPress admin.
- Two generation styles, Hybrid (forms and interactive parts keep working) and Strict (a standalone mirror, forms replaced by a contact message), set per site, per category or per page.
- Direct serving by Apache and LiteSpeed before WordPress starts, and a PHP fallback on other servers.
- Per-page plugin control: choose which plugins run on which page, with a preview and a check before you save, and a reset button to undo everything.
- Measurements on your own server: cost per plugin with margins of error, and static versus dynamic speed on your home page.
- Automatic rebuilds on save, on changes to the theme, menus, Bricks templates and global styles, on plugin updates, and daily, with a journal that says what happened to each page.
- An overview dashboard, a getting-started checklist and a compatibility check that flags what static pages cannot do.
- Built and tested with Bricks, and with Polylang multilingual sites: each language keeps its own static page.
- Export of a standalone static copy of your site as a ZIP, for any host.
- Screens in English, French and Spanish. No cookie, no tracking, and no outside service for your visitors.
Good to know
- A static page cannot do what needs WordPress at the moment of display: carts, personal content, live filters. The plugin keeps WooCommerce cart, checkout and account pages live by itself, and you can keep any page dynamic.
- WPML is supported but has not been tested on a real WPML site yet. Divi, Oxygen and Elementor 4 are detected but not audited yet.
- Run one page cache at a time. Image and code optimisation tools can stay next to it.

FAQ
What is MyStaticWP, in one sentence?
A WordPress plugin that turns your dynamic pages into static ones: each page is built once, saved as a file, and served to visitors while you keep editing in the same WordPress admin.
Do I need to touch code or configure anything?
No code. Activate the plugin, turn static mode on and click Regenerate all. It takes about ten minutes, and you only do it once.
Will my visitors ever see old content?
Rarely, and never for long. Saving a page rebuilds its static copy, shared changes such as the theme or a menu rebuild the site about a minute later, and a daily rebuild catches the rest.
Does it replace my cache plugin?
It does the same core job, static pages, and adds per-page control of plugins and measurements. It does not optimise images or minify code. Run one page cache at a time.
Does it work with my page builder?
Yes. A static page is the page WordPress produced, whatever built it. Bricks is audited and was used on the plugin’s own test site, and Elementor before version 4 is audited too.
Will my forms still work?
In Hybrid style, yes: a submission goes to WordPress as before. In Strict style, forms are replaced by a message with your contact address.
Does it collect any analytics?
No. It sets no cookie, records no IP address and makes no outside request when a page is displayed.
What happens if I do not renew the license?
The plugin keeps working. Only the one-click updates need a valid key.
What happens if I deactivate or delete the plugin?
Deactivating removes its server rules and returns your site to plain, dynamic WordPress. Your content is never changed. On uninstall, you choose what is removed.
